Endodontics, the field of dentistry dedicated to the study and treatment of the dental pulp and
surrounding tissues, has seen remarkable advancements in both surgical and nonsurgical
approaches to managing complex cases. This proceeding book represents a rich compilation of
diverse endodontic case reports, showcasing the evolving techniques, challenges, and innovations
within the field.
We are excited to present this collection, which was made possible through the collaboration
between The IKORGI Jakarta Pusat and The Penn Endodontic Global Symposium 2025,
held in Bali from January 17th - 19th, 2025. The symposium provided a unique platform for global
collaboration, where experts from University of Pennsylvania gathered to share their knowledge,
discuss best practices, and push the boundaries of endodontic care.
The cases presented in this proceeding reflect the clinical expertise and dedication of
endodontists, offering valuable insights into treatment planning, decision-making processes, and
outcomes of both surgical and nonsurgical interventions. From overcoming persistent infections
through root canal therapy to addressing complex anatomical challenges with surgical techniques,
these reports underscore the significance of personalized treatment in achieving optimal patient
outcomes.
